Performance spent 2 days trying to diagnose why our Toyota Celica failed emissions and concluded that we needed a $2,500+ timing chain replacement. They charged us over $350 for this diagnosis. I took our car to Pedersen and in just a couple of hours they diagnosed that they just needed to clean the MAF sensor and the car passed inspection. I will not go to Performance again.
Dennis, Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry your initial experience at our shop was not good. I remember your vehicle and situation, came in about a month and a half ago, although I don't think we met personally. I will research this with our technicians and service advisors and give you a call in a day or two. I remember the vehicle being difficult to diagnose; there is a chance we missed it.
