Performance spent 2 days trying to diagnose why our Toyota Celica failed emissions and concluded that we needed a $2,500+ timing chain replacement. They charged us over $350 for this diagnosis. I took our car to Pedersen and in just a couple of hours they diagnosed that they just needed to clean the MAF sensor and the car passed inspection. I will not go to Performance again.

Dennis, Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry your initial experience at our shop was not good. I remember your vehicle and situation, came in about a month and a half ago, although I don't think we met personally. I will research this with our technicians and service advisors and give you a call in a day or two. I remember the vehicle being difficult to diagnose; there is a chance we missed it. Great staff, great service. I have all the maintenance work for my 2014 Kia Sorento done at All-Tech Motors. The routine oil changes are completed quickly so I can just wait. For other more extensive work, I am given a ride home (and back to the shop). Also, they keep me up-to-date on needed maintenance. Plus a Keurig coffee maker is available to make your drink of choice - coffee, tea, hot chocolate.
