I have an 07 Saturn Vue that recently shredded the serpentine belt. The diagnosis was a locked up A/C compressor that to replace, would have cost way too much. I brainstormed with Pat and we discussed the idea of finding a shorter belt that could possibly bypass the compressor or at worse, remove the compressor (the a/c hadn't worked in several years) entirely. Pat and the crew put their heads together and found a suitable belt that could bypass the compressor. The car runs great and it saved me a bunch of unnecessary expense! Thanks Pat.

I'm pretty sure that I have found my new repair shop! Margo at the front desk was polite and friendly. The work was performed on schedule with no surprise fees or extras charges. The results were immediately noticeable and improved. Big shout out to the entire staff!

I had driveline issues in my 2001 Cummins and they not only took care of it but I provided with a listing of the services my truck needed prices so I could decide what to fix first. I was also able to get a ride to and from my house while they worked on my truck for a few days. Their diesel mechanic is highly certified and did a great job for me.

Just prior to departing on a 2000 mile trip pulling a heavy trailer the 1999 Ford Expedition tow vehicle developed a severe clunking and chunking noise and vibration. The Technicians at Performance (Will in particular) diagnosed it as Drive Train issues and after deeper inspection determined the Transfer Case was the culprit but the Front and Rear Differentials, although not perfect, were up to the task of continuing in service with new fluids. Will and Tony replaced the Transfer Case and U-Joints and serviced the Differential and Transmission which solved the problem and got the truck back on the road. All of this during a very busy time of the year and me popping in completely unannounced. Margo was polite, informed and helpful whenever I stopped by the shop and Pat (the owner of the shop) walked me through every step of this complicated series of diagnostics and repairs. Pat stayed in constant contact with me viacell phones during my entire 33 hour non-stop drive home and this over the July 4th holiday weekend! He was truly concerned about my safety and me not being stranded. Pat helped link me up with another NAPA Care shop near where I live to make sure my vehicle is kept in good shape going forward. Straight up shop that I would most definitely use again! As a native of Fort Collins I previously used Engel Automotive, Houska's, Gilsdorf Garage, and Summer's Auto which I believe are the premier shops in the Ft. Fun area. I now include Performance Tune in the same category of top-tier car care! Convenient location (Drake and Shields), upright ownership, professionalism, and gifted Technicians. The shop is busy and I can see why! Straight shooters and I will be back whenever I am in town. Another interesting service they offer is to have a trusted, local tire shop come to Performance Tune to do tire work while your vehicle is in the shop for repairs they are performing (Performance does not do tire work at this time). The tire work is legit and is a great time-saving service and the prices are quite competitive! Thanks Will, Margo, Tony for helping me out in a crunch situation - Job Well Done!
